A Tune Unheard

My body is there, my mind is elsewhere. My ears are hearing, but I am not listening. My eyes are open, but I am sleeping. My nose is sniffling, but I am not crying. And as you speak, yell, or babble all I experience is a never ending song, with a droning syncopated tune.
