BIRTHDAY SOLACE
And so another year has passed me by
And once again I sigh a mournful sigh
As I recall the wondrous gift of joy
The passing seasons gave me as a boy.
Where have they gone those thrills of yesteryear?
(Nostalgic loss almost too great to bear)
