Yielding to the motion of crashing waves,
step ashore at one with elements raging
all said to be apart, yet at once whole

Wherefore or where to seek
for then it's as a moment's haste
assimilated, no, imprisoned
by time mourning
the road ahead
as even then
hollowed by foresight
it slips toward longing
for a time it was
