Silently I scream inside
As the fire fades and passion dies
There’s nothing I can do it’s true
She’ll never love me through and through
And though my heart is quite exploded
Still her simple gun is loaded
Then she kicks me while I’m down
And turns my smiles into frowns
Even she now knows it’s wrong
So pity is our new love song
Secretly I hate to love her
But love to hate her too
Cause every time she throws me down
She’ll raise me up anew
I know it’s cruel and so unfair
But each warm touch
Is refreshing in the chilly air
Those lips that spew such evil
How can they bring such lust?
Her words say she doesn’t love me
But her kisses show she must
I’d love to rid myself of her
But never will I try
It would be the end of sorrow
And still I’d rather die.
