It's a Pity

Sadness, agony, misery, and shame. Words I feel at the mention of your name. Pity, loathing, disrespect, and lack of joy. Become my friends as I become your toy. Tired, sullen, mourning, anger, and fear. All swell within my heart as you near. Beaten, scarred, trampled, and bruised. These things describe how I’ve been used. Sadness, agony, misery, and shame. I feel so bad, yet I’m the one to blame.
