For once, I can truly say 'I don't know'
I don't know what I want or where to go

These nice looking things all have major drawbacks
And all the dark things leave me covered in tire tracks

The fire in my attic has gone out
The screaming in my blood has just become a shout

When I forget the things I used to need
The people I loved, the lusts I did feed

I don't build my memories up
I just break my hopes and dreams down
