you can crawl
into your own mouth
but once inside
you can not
climb back out.
dig a system of tunnels
from ***** to *****.
set up camp
in a hollowed out heart.
make a small fire
rubbing two bones together.
a smoke plume rises
and mushrooms in your skull.

ascend through fire.
you bang on the drum.
