I inhale your invisible fume and succumb to a wave of nostalgia I could do without.

With each blink a flash of your face burns my eyelids; your piercing eyes as eerily soothing as ever.
Your aroma straps me in to ride out the highs and lows of our memories.

The hairs on my arms and neck stand at attention searching for you as my brain remembers your skin and fills in your touch.

I exhale your redolence and open my eyes slowly. You fade from my mind for now and leave me all over again.
