Though this fog of oblivion
had failed to prevent my sight.
Still, for miles on miles my outstretched arms
had longed to grace the touch
of a lingering fairytale.
And every superficial sign we stumbled upon
arrowed in the way of a long awaited dream,
for me to find it was just I
on a one-way street...
