I'm standing on the shards
Of the plans you bashed and broke
And under the pouring rain
Whenever I close my eyes and face
Towards the sky, asking,
Pleading and begging for some
Kind of answer or a way out;
All I feel is the mocking
Of the raindrops splattering on my face
Almost like they are hitting me,
Punishing me for being
So naive and asking me
"What possessed me?"
Dear world, don't you get it
I can't be streamlined to their path
I don't know anything
I just know me
And this is what I want
Correction:  *This was what I wanted
