Being alone is hard to describe
The way it makes you feel on the inside
Like no one wants to hear you
Or maybe people fear you
It’s emotionally exhausting
It has a bitter taste like lemon frosting
But only after being alone do you feel stronger
You change your thinking and feel this way no longer
You emerge a new person
You finally open up the curtains
You look at the sky and see no part without cloud
And you hear the thunder boom quite loud
At that moment you look at the barron wet terrain
And remember why you were in pain
There is nothing left but the raging cyclone
And when that subsides you’ll be all alone
