I pondered in a mirror and to my surprise,
watched back from beyond,
two dreary eyes.
These eyes resembled mine,
both shape and from,
but from the colors and paleness,
they look awfully worn,
Were these mine?
This pair of eyes?
They do look like mine,
but full of demise,
The worst part about it,
looking within,
was feeling like,
I have yet to begin.
Begin life,
the struggles and aches,
Joy and celebration,
Love and hate.
But for now I move on,
And say goodbye,
to those two eyes,
Who resemble mine
