The cold black sky after the storm tears its way across the night sky.
Dark passing clouds drip down the canvas as the setting sun slips into obscurity.
The rain drops slide off the tree and into the grass blades almost as if waving "Bye."
The night surrounds me and whispers into my ear removing all sense of security.
I say goodbye as the sun bleeds its entirety into the horizon and fades away.
I say goodbye to the world and say "maybe I'll see you another day."
