My Cup Runneth Over
i.** Do you remember when you used to cup the smallest part of my being near your heart like wavelengths and melodies only the whales could decipher?
ii.
You once held me gently, for there was always a trembling in my chest of lost breaths and salt water memories.
iii.
The tide has risen with crashing waves of grief and without you, I’m just a fish out of water.
