Echoes of a Heartbreak

I felt it as it went away,

Felt it as it bounced,

I felt it coming back,

Hitting me again, even harder than before,

And the cycle continues,

Felt I’m some real piece of ****

Not only unloved, but grossly humiliated,

So unwanted, badly trampled and unceremoniously discarded,

Scorned, mocked and truly embarrassed,

With words unheard of, from the deceiver,

A two timer, a player, a love in the passing,

So unimaginable, the pain so unbearable,

Like a fissure, a dent, a crack at the heart,

Long for some relief, but who knows what you are going through?

Want this to stop now, but only a tear drop after another,

As the pain goes by, bounces then torment you once more…
