and then he wasn't

It was different when it came to him. He didn't have a cold front that chilled your bones yet intrigued you at the same time. He didn't have a hard glare that made you weak yet completely captivated you. He wasn't harsh at first, and then you came to love him. He was sweet, and kind, and completely mesmerized by you. And then he wasn't.
