The way that I stray
And the way that I run
Were both brought on
By you, my love.
So broken and crass,
I can fake a smile
I can fake a love
That will last a while
But in the end
I regress back to you
Eyes so green
I am full of envy
For how you stray
And how you run
And still have a smile
That will last for a while.
It seems so genuine.
How does that bring about happiness?
It just makes the careless runaway in me
All the more eager
To flee.
