Absence of the author

Returning to ink

and parchment

long absence and dissent

fuelled by unwillingness to think.

Crimes of thought

being lost in dreams

of reality it seems.

Look what neglect has wrought.

This pristine page greets the eye

of the errant author.

demanding to be filled by more

and seeking once more

in literal dreams to fly.
