Maybe I should keep quiet,
And yet,
The secret is destroying me,
Tearing me apart from the inside,
Losing myself in a swarm of emotions,
Owned by my heart,
Veiled by my fear,
Except the veil’s starting to slip,
Somebody help,
Just tell her they all think,
Easy solution?
No, I’ll just pull the veil back up,
Never speak of it again,
You will never know.
