Is a curious little girl
Who loves to collect
Shells & pebbles
Of people & events
Discarded by Time
Along the shores

The woman walked.
She, with hair locks
Of silver laughter
& smiles & mischief
Hid on photographs
Hid & framed by Time
On sepia boxes
Kept by an old dust,

My grandmother :
A golden native
Of photographs
Hanging on our wall,
A narrative donning
Her black and white.
