Underneath the skin
      blood runs through my veins
My heart beats a steady rhythm
      breathing slowly filling my lungs with air

It all just stopped
my blood ran cold
my heart seised its pattern
my lungs gave up

You said things
I didn't think you
were worthy of saying
Let me go,
Let me be who I am
or
let me sleep never to
awaken.
