Sully

If I am not with him, Whenever that may be, Thought I don't like to be away from him, Because I love him so much, I only get to see him on the weekends. As long as I am with him, Because he's so cute and full of energy, As soon as I see him, Although they're wet and sloppy, I get lots of kisses from my sweet little dog Sully.

I wrote this in 7th grade about my baby Maltese dog Sully Monster. I had had a steady "boyfriend" for about 2 years, and I'll never forget the look on my classmates faces because they thought I was talking about my boyfriend. That is, until I got to the very last line. I'll always hold this poem very close to my heart because of that!
