It has seemed like centuries
And it still does now as I stand
Standing emotionless still
Dead inside the heart of a dying man

Love wasted by waiting on myself
Waiting for a change to take effect
Searching for normalcy
In a world so lost

It feels like a century has gone by
Time did not wait for me
It charged on forth without hesitation
Without mercy it slain me

And here I am now, older
But, am I wiser?
It's hard to tell
When there's nothing to reflect on
