Jun 2016
there i stood by the brook,
had  hope inside me like fire,
that cried for you,
with life that ignites inside me ire,
i wish i was true,
there i stood by the brook,
i heard the water's flow,
as time has passed,
looked at how the things were,
but saddened how long did they last,
leaves separated from the twigs,
the way our lives had,
wind said something in my ears,
ah! even that was sad,
tear drops falling, they carry your name,
wish you were there for me,
but now you ain't the same,
so there i stand by the brook,
when this night will end i questioned,
that's when i heard the dawn's call.
