In the Day
Why scream in darkness,
everybody screams there;
It is for cowards and idiots
thinking they can change.
I tell her I need her and I want
her
compass, her train pass, her
watch-
ful eye directed toward my city.
She tells me that she loves me,
and cries.
It was the first time. It was in the dark
night. Then I realized:
Crying is like screaming
in the day.
