May 2016
what once was just a simple doubt
becomes a fierce and fighting trout
which swims within the river shame
well set upon the hook of blame

the hook and line lead on to fury
pulled on through life, yet have no hurry
and dreading still the day I'm landed
when upon the rocks of fate I'm stranded

apathetic and pathetic. resigned to sighs and dreams
If I only could remember, life's never exactly what it seems
