A purple flower
A tiny flower
She places in my hand
Time is still
For her and me
Standing on that sand

Splashing fish
and skipping stones
are things I've seen before
Yet as I stay there
holding her
New emotions start to pour

Her beautiful eyes
Smiling eyes
Gaze intently into mine
Bringing forth a happiness
Making me drunker than can wine

Luscious greens
Vibrant greens
of too many shades to name
Surround us
Envelop us
And I know she feels the same
