Silence can be deadly
It creeps in, circling you;
Deviously, like a soft breeze,
it whispers insecurities.

Slithering behind silence,
loneliness creeps along
A sweet caress on the skin
Coaxing you to feel empty.

Sadness flows into the empty space
Taking everything in its path
A shortage of breath -
A reach of a hand
Flowing endlessly like water
Nothing but hurt is left in its wake.

Waiting to strike with venom
Pain rears its head
Thoughts so hurtful -
It poisons mentally & paralyzes physically.

Anger appears
For being weak, for being in pain
It feeds off negativity
