Jan 2012
The times shared are no longer memorable
The friendships once unbreakable had severed
The jealousy and bitterness piercing from stares
The sweetness in the air has dissipated
Facing towards strangers
Forgetting what was once there
No one remembers my name or my face
Recalling events is an effort
The candles have grown shorter
And we are older
Barely wiser
This is not home anymore
This is not for me
