Emotion rising
Drafts Revising
Words rearranging
Underlying emotion unchanging
I'm a tangles mess
Under stress
Pulse quickening
It's sickening
The words won't form
This can't be the norm
It looks so easy
But all I feel is queasy
In my mind it seems so clear
But in my mouth it is only fear
You stare at me with your big brown eyes
You're munching on french fries
I feel the words weight on my tongue
A love song that refuses to be sung
I shall wait until tomorrow
Till I find some words to borrow
