2.
The day brightens and attention is focused.
There's only one light on your horizon, the only one worth notice.
You can only wait and hope you see her sooner than late.
The sun hits her face and highlights the perfect place, couldn't look away even if her eyes feel the visual embrace.
Her eyes shift, rather swift but in their midst your thoughts still twist.
She gives a flirty smile and your heart beats as if you've run a mile.
The approach is calculated, chest up, head straight.

You say hello, but her words seem to flow, captivating and dangerous, it was a low blow.
But you continue to play the game, one of playful back and fourths.
Complimenting everything, even her name, such a shame that its always the same, lose due to the over thinking blues.
It ends well, but what compels one to dwell on the in-between carousel?

Time passes, and circumstances have changed, life continues to advance through the sunshine or rain.
The relationship goes sour.
Desperately looking to get away, you cower and stray.
Silencing the soul but exercising the mind.
Wishing to rewind time in hopes to jump back on that thin line.
