May 2016
Then I woke
To the Amber sun
And I knew this day
A new life had begun

Too many things
I felt before
Did not exist
In my heart no more

Gone were the shadows
That cast the pain
Filled were the voids
That once sustained

Negativity
Will fade to black
For the light of love
Does drive it back

A blossomed heart,
An ace of will,
No moments pass
Where love lies still

A thousand miles
Set us apart
But it's no task
For two of hearts

And we know good things
Will manifest soon
When we give each other
In the month of June
