The Hobo
On this lonely winter night
he walks the street
by dim of light
Puddles ring
around his feet
Hands in pockets
trap the heat
A bottle rests
inside his coat
A demon's bay
for *** and note
He wrote his words
between the day
Perhaps the lastΒ
he will ever say
Much like Jekyll
more like Hyde
Addiction killedΒ
the man inside
Once a heart
pained to try
Poisoned still
No one cries
