May 2016
hungry hands to feed the other
fast steps caught in between
slight words, minute thoughts
not quite fair
in shallow ends;
desperately seeking kinder waves
in a blasting fury that never sounds
numb movements, dumb actions
never relieving yourself
in shallow ends;
look around, catch a glimpse
the light escapes with every sigh
or perhaps in reflected grins
shallow
shallow
in shallow ends.
