To Smile Again

I want to smile again because of you,

Just a little more please.

How I wish we can wear a scar when we're happy

Like when we get wounded.

Happiness is a fragile thing

We need a reminder that we once were.

And I wish I could wear my heart on my sleeve

To let you know I love you

So I don't have to make excuses.

If only I can change my colors

And let you know it is true.

In a world afraid of shadows

Maybe we can appreciate our real shade.
