Oh, love is a drug
that intoxicates my mind so
with its sweet silent music
and the scent of its blossoms
cause my soul to long for its beloved.
Oh, you have lit a holy fire in my heart!
I would travel a million miles
through all the world's sorrows and pain and woe
just for one kiss and one embrace.
Oh, I live my life in you and through you
and if all the world I did own
all this I would give for you.
Oh, you are the only flower
that blooms in my soul
and your heavenly sent intoxicates me so.
Oh, you I love and only you.
Like some silent siren
your beauty calls to me
and I am forever drawn into your arms
and forever live in your kiss
for all the days
and for all the nights
that shall ever be
I will give myself to you.
