cream & sugar, snowman mug

I dreamt last night that we were strangers No more red hair all on your floor No more old t-shirts in my drawer I knew nothing of your freckled shoulders Nothing of your fingers down my spine I found myself wondering how you took your coffee As if I'd never watched you brew a pot I sat smiling as you filled a room with belly laughs Watched you make the crowd your own I found myself wanting to leave my red hair on your pillowcase, Find your old t-shirts in my drawer
