When you see the small, bright blue flower
It is supposed to give over the power
To remember that very hour

That face, that place, where you find happiness
Every thought goodness, every action of kindness

A lifetime of memories, we neglect, we overlook
Until we see them near the brook
Then we realize we've been mistook

Oh, we have been careless, perhaps a bit foolish
To believe it doesn't matter
When it is what makes us flourish

Observe the small, bright blue flower
It will remind you of loves power
The forget-me-not, belief in it with no doubt
That's what life is all about
