When you know too much
When you name the wind
God takes a limb
And carves His name in
You Breathe Too Much
He says and sings
The seasons ever faster
Spring so unrelenting
Cannibals ate
What they could not whittle
And your death bed warms
To His unnerving riddle
And your memory, no
What was I for?
To barter flesh and bone
And ever He took more
