My body cracks
like the wind upon
the backs of old trees.
As I stand, begin to tremble,
violently,
do my knees.
One thing I will say
swiftly and with ease.
"Surely.. this world will live,
   laugh & love,
   much longer than
   you or me."
This, I know.
