I'm looking at you from a distance
I can't seem to look away

Such a familiar coincidence,
you make me nervous
again

Like a mirror, I see my reflection in you
It's nothing that I haven't seen before
& Still, it's all new.

From a comfortable distance,
I stare at you

And your gaze wonders,
in an empty room

I sound like a ******,
I know that, too.

I see now why you never bothered to care.

I see you in my wonders
I see  you in my head
I see you on the streets

Every time I forget

What else is new? I never bothered to tell you
You are occupied by things that seem mundane to me
And I'm here thinking
what else is new?
