You resemble innocence:
the second one grasps
the concept
it becomes nearly
impossible to retain.
You are a thing
lost to time.
Though,
whenever I am introduced
to an unfamiliar aspect
a tingle is shot
up my spine
in a way that is
unequivocal

again,
like innocence.
