Tonight I lay white flowers on the grave of my black heart,
and mourn the death of love.

Tonight I decide to no longer give,
to no longer take,
to no longer live with the same mistakes.

I shut that grave enclosed with tears,
and weakness disguised as forgiveness,
for the last night in twenty years ,
will I suffer from this sickness.

Rest in peace dear heart,
you have been tortured till your end,
you have fallen for illusions,
you have fallen for a friend.
you have been wooed and charmed ,
until your barriers broke.
you have been urged to disarm,
until  you finally spoke.
And because you spoke ,you have been silenced.
Because  you moved outside your walls , you then became defenseless.

Let us pray for love:
may she rest in peace
she was provoked, tormented ,and is now deceased.
she gave so much of herself that she finally ceased...
to exist.
to persist.
to pursue.

She gave so much but never knew,
that it's easier to love than it is to lose,
that when you love you choose, to attach your emotions to another being.
you begin to formulate a whole new dream ,
and you create a force that evolves on its own,
a force that moves beyond your control,
that can leave you stranded in a dark unknown.
that can make you suddenly feel alone,
because you have now been conditioned to be loved.

Dear love,
I have no regrets.
I stand here with a black dress , and a black heart, mourning your death.
I have watched you fight for life,
I have watched you fight for hope,
I have watched you repeatedly trying when you could no longer cope .
I have watched you , outnumbered by the odds
and dying slowly,
and now I watch the inscription on your grave
a love that fought boldly

You will be cremated,
your remains turned to dust,
you will burn along with fate and trust.
you will burn along with hope and lust.

dearest love, rest in peace
you were a fighter, now deceased.
