Sweet and pitying such a tree be
to stare and wonder what makes them lie free,
With no ghost of a whisper but the tweets of birds
No song sung better with unheard of words,
Thy flicker of wind changes all direction
branches swaying like need of protection,
Rustling of leaves
Twigs high in the air
Acorns galore for animals to share

This is the life of a tree, need be
We'll watch it grow,
They are ever so slow
But this is the life of a tree
