Close Strangers
Poem by: D. Clare
She bid me greetings into her
charms I swam
Now, I look back from where it all began...
She walked by quickly, caught my eye while my hat blew away...
We became close strangers on that day
Deranged encounter as we floundered
The serendipity
Synchronicity splendor kissed as theΒ whispers flew astray
An array of gestures hastened our embrace then melted our beings intertwined
We wined and dined in the sublime
The she went away...
Film noir movie poetry by d. Clare
Think Humphrey Bogart...
