The glimpse of a smile
Or a crinkle by an eye
Is enough motivation
To give this a try

You say I’m lying
Or that I’m full of crap
Once you’ve even said
I’m as blind as a bat

But I know what I am seeing
And I know it to be true
Do you really think
That I would lie to you?

I need to get this off my chest
Know saying it isn’t a duty
Your laugh, your hair, your eyes and face
Everything that makes you, you, now that’s true beauty
