Mar 2016
skimming her hands
along the walls,
she rips her gaze away from the murals
that stretch from end to end
and pauses,
digging her nails
chipping paint

she wonders what would happen
if she burned his grand library
down to the
ground

he could only watch
with the fire reflected
in his dread wolf eyes
