The window is ajar
The Lacey curtain is lifted lightly
By a Summer's breeze.
The daylight, morning sunlight
Illuminating, enters the room.

You
My Love are still
Still in slumber
Soft and warm
Beneath the sheets.

I lie beside you
Awaiting your awakening
Awaiting the colour of your eyes
The movement of your lips
The softness of your voice
The motion of your Being.
