The Bridge to Nowhere

Where it leads,

not a soul knows.

Take me there?

Please, just once?

I have to know why..

Once you take the stroll down the wooden planks,

you don't return.

Could this be because it leads to paradise?

Or maybe directly into the snarling, snaggletoothed beast.

Take the risk?

The dazzling leap of faith into the sun?

Yes please.

Lead me to the bridge.

I really must go

Take me to the bridge,

cause I really wanna know.

What lies beyond the now?

What hides in the shadows?

Take me to the bridge.
