Of the night
I could see,
A couple strolling by
Sharing joy
Holding hands
As the hearts chained
By Cupid's charm

In the moonshade
Of the night
There a stray
Despair glancing in the eyes
Hoping for a better tomorrow
To have pain no more

While there stood me
To ponder the miracle
To wonder
The magic of fate
That hugging,
Killing,
Observable
Beyond the glimpse
of the moonshade.
